Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

The dentist quoted much higher than market rates for wisdom tooth removal and I felt pressured to accept. They would not stop upselling. At first they gave a quote for one and two teeth but when I said I was going to leave they even gave a quote for three! We paid 600 HKD for the X-Ray, didn’t receive them for three weeks, called in to RUDE Ella from Vee Dental and was told there was a 100 HKD ‘Service Fee’ for sending the X-Ray. We were customers in early 2025 and found them to be great. We don’t know what’s happened but this was AWFUL.

Dr. Tsang is really gentle and professional when it comes to wisdom tooth extraction. The whole procedure was quick with almost no pain during and after, thanks to his skillful technique and clear explanations. Highly recommend him if you’re nervous about pulling wisdom teeth!

I went to Dr. Mui for teeth whitening and the results are amazing—my teeth look so much brighter and natural now. He took time to explain the process and made sure everything was comfortable. Super satisfied and will definitely go back for future check-ups!

Awful experience. Extremely pricey service with poor attitude. Filling $1500 per tooth was done poorly and I need to visit another dentist to rectify the issue again. Dentist is very enthusiastic in upselling other treatments but demonstrated no patience. Here and there adding new item and even making me buy mouthwash without asking. Will not revisit and highly doubt the validity of the positive comments here.

I tried this place based on all of the good reviews but I cannot recommend this dentist. He started speaking to me while the cleaning was in progress, which was impossible to hear and not professional. Prices are for some reason are higher on two days of the week so make sure you check. X-rays are expensive compared to other clinics in the neighborhood. Thank goodness I went elsewhere for a second opinion on what needed to be done. Will not be returning.
