The HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College was established in 2005, under a Joint Venture Agreement between the HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE) and Po Leung Kuk (PLK), with the aim of providing high quality tertiary education opportunities. Since its inception, the College has developed into a well-accepted institution providing quality sub-degree education.
HPSHCC currently offers 19 sub-degree programmes leading to awards within the University of Hong Kong system through HKU SPACE. The College has over 16,000 graduates, and in recent years more than 70% of its graduates successfully articulated to undergraduate studies.

Hey there! So, I'm a current student at HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College and I'm really bummed out about the lack of attention to our comfort and well-being. As a student, we spend most of my time in the lecture rooms, where we're stuck with the same uncomfortable desks and chairs for hours on end. (some lectures are for 3 hours) I even brought it up with the school admin, hoping they'd do something about it. But, unfortunately, nothing's changed. Those chairs are still super uncomfortable, and it's like they're not even listening to us. It's honestly pretty frustrating. We're students, not robots! We deserve to feel supported and comfortable in our learning environment. Instead, it feels like our needs are being neglected. I really hope HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College starts taking student feedback seriously and makes some changes to improve our experience. Until then, I'll just have to deal with those awful chairs. If you're considering HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College, I'd say think twice. Unless they start prioritizing student comfort and feedback, you might want to look elsewhere.

The worst school to ever apply for would be one with several issues that make the educational experience less than ideal. 1. The teachers in this school are not dedicated or enthusiastic about teaching. (subjective) 2. The subjects taught during lessons do not align with what is tested in exams. (subjective) 3. The school provides GPAs but does not disclose assignment marks or comments. (objective) 4. Uncomfortable chairs like Folding Tablet Arm chairs are used, causing neck pain. Despite requests for a change, the school replied that they are self-financed and may not be able to replace them. Each student pays a different course fee, with my course costing 59k for 1 year of study. (objective) 5. Many teachers do not respond to emails promptly, if at all. (objective) It is clear that these issues create a challenging learning environment for students and hinder their academic success. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid applying to this school.

It is behind Time Square, and at the road entering into Happy Valley from Causeway Bay. Opposite to Leighton center.
