Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

We were a party of three and they sat us at a two-person table by the door. It was quite uncomfortable sitting in the middle of the hallway. The dessert was just fine.

Ching Ching Dessert was a better food experience. We both had the black sesame soup and the difference were night and day. As for Grindie had a watery and burnt taste. Ching ching was more smooth in texture and had no burnt black sesame taste.

Late June 2026 Dessert place that specializes in tofu but has added fushion combinations such us the not so common nuts and fruit. The extensive menu also has cakes as well as blended drinks giving the traditional HK tofu dessert place a more modern style. Consequently the pricing is also understandably adjusted. The small counter staff are young and attentive. The place is highly squeezed with the busy TST food scene. Ideal for quick eats and single or very small groups of diners.

Seasonal Honey Melon Sorbet is very nice! It is nice not being too sweet, although definitely an 1-person portion. Coated Glutinous Rice Balls - we like this too!

Grindie in Tsim Sha Tsui has excellent purple sweet potato soup – the semi-sweet version is very good. The ginger milk curd has a nice steamed milk texture. Sesame mochi soup is decent. Staff are extremely friendly. Note: 45-minute time limit, but we finished in under 20 minutes
