Had a great experience with this shop owned by a couple who are both experienced and friendly. I brought in a rather worn out celine belt handbag and the repair craftsmanship was beyond my expectations. They did a good job in setting realistic expectations and for the quality of work I find it worth every penny. My husband brought in two pairs of leather shoes for repair as well and he was happy with the result. Would recommend and return.

The zipper on my knee-high/long boot broke during my flight to Hong Kong. Since I'm only in town for a week I was stressed about getting it fixed in such a short amount of time. I live in Germany and replacing long boot zippers is always quite expensive. Most places need at least a week to do this kind of repair. Anyway, Google showed Best Skill Shoe Repair as the closest repair shop to my hotel. I dropped off my boot on Tuesday morning and collected it on Saturday morning. The repair lady did a great job, I'm also happy that she managed to do this as a rush order. Price was 400 HKD, approx. 45 Euro which is a fair price - it's about what I'd pay at home for this kind of repair. The shop is on the first floor of the building, staircase/entry is next to Beanmountain bakery.

This shop has 20+ experience in shoe repair and they are experienced with all kinds of leather shoes. Shop owner said they also repair sneakers. I was very happy with the price and quality.

*SEVERE WARNING* DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SHOES. The biggest mistake I made is trusting them to install Vibram outsoles on my brand new Carol Christian Poell derbies. Without even giving a notice that the entire 1/2 of the back heel would be sanded down for installing the Vibram soles, the cobbler basically took customer's properties for granted. The level of their carelessness is outrageous and unbelievable. However, considering the fact that they are nice people in general, I did not argue with them for a refund but rather took it as a lesson. "Best Skills?", not sure.. "Most irresponsible and careless" ABSOLUTELY !!! Wish me good luck repairing my shoes elsewhere.
