About 中環6號渡輪碼頭
中環6號渡輪碼頭, a ferry or harbour cruise operator in Central, Central and Western, is at 香港島中環. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.
Attractions, ferries and rental services are busiest at weekends, on public holidays and in the school holidays, so book popular slots early. Hong Kong drives on the left, and visitors can generally drive on a valid overseas licence for up to 12 months; boat trips and ferries may be suspended in bad weather, so keep an eye on Hong Kong Observatory warnings. Ferry and cruise schedules change with the weather, and return sailings are crowded on holidays, so buy tickets early or leave extra time.
Opening hours are not listed yet. Hours vary a lot between businesses and may change at weekends and on public holidays, so call first or check the Google Maps link on this page. Phone: 2131 8181. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is nwff.com.hk, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.
At 4.0 out of 5 on Google (198 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

I took the high-speed ferry to Mui Wu. It takes 35 minutes. Very comfortable. Wi-Fi is also available at the pier.

The pier provided ferry service to Mui Wo in Lantau Island. Fast and normal speed ferries charging different fare were running during the day. A few stalls selling hot food, snacks, and drinks were operating at the entrance. Benches were installed outside and inside the paid area. Octopus card was the major payment method. There were toilets at one end of the pier and on board the vessel. The schedule was not so frequent. The journey was enjoyable because of the ship's stability.
