On June 23, '26, a Daikin technician came to inspect my air conditioner. He mentioned that scaffolding is required to check whether the split-type unit has a refrigerant leak or a broken electronic board, and said they would provide a quotation for the scaffolding costs. As of today, it has been two weeks, and they still haven't given me the quote. When I called Daikin to inquire, they replied that because Daikin doesn't have an in-house scaffolding company, they have to wait for a quote from the external contractor they partner with. Is this poor after-sales service supposed to discourage people from ever buying Daikin again? In a city as highly efficient as Hong Kong, having to wait two weeks just for a scaffolding quote to repair an air conditioner—and then who knows how much longer until the actual repair is fin
