灣仔屬灣仔區，位於香港島。香港島北岸是全港商業最密集的地帶之一，港鐵港島線由堅尼地城通往柴灣，電車（俗稱「叮叮」）則行走堅尼地城至筲箕灣，不少商戶設於商業大廈或唐樓的樓上單位。南區以海灘、行山徑及漁港見稱，例如淺水灣、赤柱和香港仔避風塘，週末及假日人流較多。灣仔既有香港會議展覽中心一帶的商業大廈，也保留舊式街市及唐樓，大型展覽期間附近食肆較為繁忙。香港每年有十多天公眾假期，農曆新年、復活節、中秋節及聖誕節前後不少商戶會調整營業時間，部分小店在農曆新年休息三至七天。

Stayed here for 2 months. It's super convenient to go to Central or CWB. Everything you need is close-by, the gym, plenty of restaurants around, 7-11, tram, taxis, buses, lots more. The room was fine for 1 person, clean with a washing machine in the room. The shower was powerful and soothing. Security/ cleaning staff were always polite and friendly, apart from 1 night guard. The gym in the building is fine for a light workout or treadmill run. Its clean and well maintained. It's a little expensive for what it is, but the location is amazing.

Very convenient location to supermarket, restaurants, eateries, MTR etc. Rooms are exactly as described except some light switches are strangely located and use of the water heater required following instructions for someone not used to heater operations. Staff is very helpful and courteous with 24hr security. Gym was unexpectedly spacious for HK and was well equipped. Great view facing Queens Rd on the treadmills. There are two entrances to GardenEast, one on Queen’s Road and one at the back on Sam Pan Rd. Queen’s Rd has pedestrian barricades and you can only unload luggage from taxi/uber if traveling westward on Queens Rd. and requires you to carry your luggage across the street. A better option for unloading or loading luggage during check in or check out is to use the back entrance on Sam Pan Rd. (a few steps are involved). I had a room on the upper floors and it was very quiet. I would definitely consider GardenEast again for a stay in the Wan Chai area.

Superb customer service - always attentive to the needs and requests of tenants. The housekeeping staff are also courteous and friendly. Rooms are kept clean and garbage are taken out on a daily basis. There is a gym, and massage chair for tenants’ free use. Deposit was returned within 3 weeks from end of stay. Location is very good as it is near an MTR station, bus stops and tram stops. Definitely I will stay again at GardenEast when I am back in Hong Kong.
