After reading positive reviews here, I signed my 1yo son up to baby playgroup, but now realize all those reviews are old and probably outdated. My impression after our first session is that the teacher was not trained to teach a baby class. The activities were disorganized, and some were not age-appropriate. Babies put everything in their mouth at lightning speed, so when the messy play came out, it was only normal that I ask what it was made of (as my son has allergies). The teacher replied verbatim « I have no idea but I’m sure it’s safe ». The teacher then took out some paint that states black and white on the bottle that it was not recommended before 3 years old. He insisted it was « safe », that it would only colour our baby’s poo if ingested and that there were many more dangerous things in the world than paint. Though paint indeed wouldn’t pose a death risk for an infant, I found it irresponsible that they would use something that is not age-appropriate. Additionally, the floor mat was not clean, which made me worry about the overall hygiene. When I raised these issues with 3 consecutive emails, they simply ignored me. This review speaks specifically to their baby class. We went in for a trial class and were shocked by the level of unprofessionalism and disorganization. The floor area was not clean enough for crawling babies (dust and debris were visible everywhere), it did not seem like they intended to disinfect or clean any of the items that were used during the session, and play materials were not appropriate (toxic /choking hazard) for babies who were at the stage of putting everything in their mouths. It also seemed like the teacher lacked any early years education qualification. Very disappointing.

Awesome French kindergarten right in Central. Small classes, tailored learning and very nice facilities from 9mo until elementary. They really focus on the wellbeing of the students, who benefit from a wide range of activities, outdoor playtime, site visits. Classes are delivered in French and English, with additional classes in Mandarin for those interested.

学校拥有悠久的历史，而且小朋友从二岁以下就可以接触到法语正规教学，我的两个孩子从baby班我就陪同一起上课。还有各种假期班兴趣班。小朋友都非常enjoy.从做activities中自动学习各种有用的词汇。非常推荐。

My older daughter took the Eveil class (Playgroup) at Petits Lascars a few years ago. She loved it. That’s why I am now sending my younger daughter there as well. It’s a wonderful school with the possibility of acquiring different languages. I highly recommend this school to those who wish their children to have a quality education and to develop different skills happily in a safe environment.
