Visting this gym is a must for all levels!!! The review is a week late but I’m just settling back to my routine back home. Fighting/competing is not my main focus these days as studying and focusing on my career is but that still stands martial arts is not just fighting but a way of life. I still train to learn and be healthy. This gym understands that too, Coach Ernest in our one training session explained me the mechanics of my own technique and gave me excercises to improve it. He even showed me things I was a complete novice too. Coach Ernest is an extremely knowledgeable and patient trainer so do not be afraid to give this gym a shot, his experience speaks for itself. I will visit again!

I’ve had a fantastic experience training at Resolve Marital Arts. The one-on-one sessions are particularly beneficial — Coach Ern and Coach King are very attentive, patient, and genuinely focus on helping you improve both technique and fitness. They take time to explain things clearly, correct form, and push you just enough so you get the most out of each session without feeling overwhelmed. What I really appreciate is that the training feels tailored to me. Each session is customised to my level and goals, so I always feel challenged yet supported. The progress I’ve made in my boxing skills and overall fitness has been evident, and I look forward to every class. The atmosphere at Resolve is friendly and motivating, and the team creates a space where you feel comfortable whether you’re a beginner or more advanced. The combination of professional coaching and a welcoming community makes it a gym I genuinely enjoy returning to. I reconnected with my brother in arms Ern after more than 10 years. Having followed his professional fighting career from overseas, I was happy and curious to receive his teachings at his newly opened gym. With a lifetime spent practicing combat martial arts, I have been taught by senior masters in Hong Kong, Laos, Thailand and Canada. I belonged to 3 fight teams in Muay Thai and Boxing and spent years sparring and cornering fighters at the amateur and professional level. Though I went to Resolve Martial Arts with the excitement to train with my brother, I never suspected I would be so blown away by the experience. Ern is a master of his craft, who has attained expression of self both in fighting and in teaching, which is extremely rare, especially for his age. Most of my masters being beyond their 60s at the time I started training under them, my standard of practice was always high. On top of this, Ern has a passion for learning which keeps him modern in terms of the approaches chosen, constantly learning and adapting to the ever changing scene of mixed martial arts, muay thai, boxing, grappling, wrestling, strength and conditioning. Had a great time having a training session with Ernest. He could spot my weakness very quickly and he gave me some great advices. Very nice experience. For sure I will be back.
