There is an old school charm here, but that also means you must make them note down and confirm simple things like agreed collection time, price and what you wanted altered. I was quoted 270 to alter a pair of pants and ended up paying 370, had arranged a specific pick up date (with ample time for the work - over a week) and arrived to find that my item was not in the shop. Workmanship tbd.

Came to Tinlon Tailor with an emergency to fix a dress. They offered to fix it immediately free of charge. They’re located in the alleyway in the building to the left. Great service and listening!

I have been coming here to have my suits altered for a good 5 years at least. Brought my favourite pair of jeans to have the holes mended. For $300, this is pretty poor result and workmanship. Can you see the previous work by a different shop done underneath, the white cloth. I ended up trimming a huge chunk of it myself. Never again. Potential customers beware.

I asked for a pants hemming. The tailor there (actually a pretty nice lady before the incident) did something additional to my jumpsuit and charged me for HKD800. I was so angry but I needed my jumpsuit for a wedding so I paid HKD300 for it. It could worth HKD800 for the pants hemming and the additional service but it should be asked in advance right?! I was extremely angry (and it was not written on any paper so I have no record or evidence of it).
