About 彩薈軒 (iSQUARE店)

Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.

When choosing a restaurant, check whether the menu shows prices and the service charge, whether you need to book, and whether there are vegetarian or children's options. Restaurants must hold a licence from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, usually displayed inside. Lunar New Year, Mother's Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve are peak booking times, and some restaurants offer set menus or add a surcharge on festive days, so ask ahead. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.

Opening hours: daily, 10:00–23:00. It is open seven days a week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 2766 1010. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is choifookent.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

It has a Google rating of 3.9 out of 5 from 538 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.

Nice Hong Kong-style dimsum place. A bit pricey but reasonable given the comfortable & spacious place, and nice view of the harbour.

Great value for family dinner. Amazing harbour views at night. Food was average but not bad. Services were excellent. Very pleasant experience for a family gathering! Parking was only free for the first 2 hours. $50/hr afterwards.

Had a family brunch here (5 adults and 3 kids) and the total bill came to about $800 after ordering quite a few dishes. The food was good overall. It was actually my first time having dim sum in Hong Kong, so I can’t really compare with other local spots, but it was definitely better than most of the dim sum I’ve had in Singapore and Malaysia. The har gow (prawn dumplings) were nice with fresh prawns and thin skin, and the chicken feet were very flavourful and tender. One thing to note, getting to the restaurant can be a bit tricky. You need to take the lift from the concierge area, as the lifts from the ground floor don’t go directly up to the restaurant. Took us a little while to figure that out. Service was generally good and most of the staff were friendly, though one or two had a bit of attitude. But I was told that’s quite normal in Hong Kong, so just take it as part of the experience 😅.

Mediocre dim sum, rude hostess, kitchen lacked attention to details. The restaurant has a partial view of the Victoria Harbor and an aerial view of the street below if you sit by the window.

This Chinese restaurant is located on the 25th floor, offering stunning night views of Hong Kong while you dine. Their Guangdong dishes are well-known, and we tried many—each one authentic and delicious. The combination of the view and the cuisine makes it a memorable experience. Check out the photos and you’ll see exactly what I mean!
