Short story: If you’re a single guy or you are open to compromise on price this could work. It’s not great but Hong Kong is expensive so places like this make it possible for backpackers and modest income people to visit the city. My room was clean but well worn. Up to you. Look at the traveller photos. They’re accurate. Long story: The room is small but bigger than most of the hotels like this where the mattress touches three walls. The room was clean but looked dirty initially. It’s really old and worn. Like a 1980s basement at your friend’s place where you can do what you want because parents are never around. The room and sheets were clean but I always use my own small travel blanket for these places. The room actually had space for my two big luggages by the door. I was shocked. Floor was clean (enough). They provide slippers but I didn’t use them. No bugs or evidence of them. I saw this place is sanitary. Washroom was clean (enough for a single guy). Toilet bowl had a massive brown stain in it. It’s mineral buildup and I think cannot be removed. But it was clean. The towels were so-so. Fine for drying the body. I used paper towels for my face. Several hairs on the towels b
