Tai Kok Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Octopus works on the MTR, buses, minibuses, ferries and trams; heading to Tai Kok Tsui, check the street map inside the MTR station to find the nearest exit.

Location : 3/5 Location is very very bad, very far away from the metro station and bus stations Room 2/5 The rooms were very small while the prices where high. How did this Hotel got 4 stars ??? The room were clean. Service 2/5 The Hotel provides nothing. No gym, no dinning spaces, laundry, no toothbrush for free… The staff was very unfriendly and were constantly judging. Starphire Hotel ? Call it Starphire Capsule Hotel. And Finally, the Hotel claims itself « eco friendly » but this is just an excuse to not provide one time use products (toothbrush, slippers…). HOWEVER the hotel light up some useless LED on the front of the building. So where is the eco friendly problem? DONT COME HERE

We stayed in Starphire Hotel on May 20-24. Compared to previous hotel experiences from the same Travel & Tour bookings (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam), the room sizes for this hotel in Hong Kong are a bit smaller. Lobby can be easily swarmed with guests but they now have free coffee and mini water jugs. Toilet in the lobby is also available. Despite smaller rooms, water pressure is good, the warm water 💧 👌 is also great. Hope you have bidet though, for easy cleaning after doing business. I hope you let your guests use more freely the tables and chairs for coffee and lounging guests as opposed to limiting 6 guests to using a coffee table with 2 chairs when nobody's using the rest. The walk from nearby malls was fairly decent for me who wants 10k steps a day but if you have friends with mobility issues, uhm, you may consider other hotel options. The room cleaner deserves a pat at the back for doing a good job cleaning our rooms daily and for the new towels and empty bins daily, even fixing our bed. Thanks a lot.

The location of hotel is within an industrial area. It's positioned slightly away from the main roads where you'll find restaurants and shops. You'll need to walk approximately 12-15 minutes to reach the nearest MTR station. However, the room itself benefits from plenty of natural light, making it quite bright despite its small size. It tends to be very quiet during the nighttime hours. Please remember to bring your own slippers and toothbrush.
