Churchill's, a pub or bar in Wan Chai, is at Ground Floor, 104 Lockhart Rd, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.

Under Hong Kong law, businesses may not sell or supply alcohol to anyone under 18, so bars may ask for ID. Many run happy-hour deals in the early evening, weekends are the liveliest, and some venues have a minimum spend or a cover charge; for live music or private events, ask for details first.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Thu 10:00–02:00, Fri–Sat 10:00–03:00, Sun 10:00–02:00. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2177 7002. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, facebook.com.

At 4.0 out of 5 on Google (527 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

On Thursday July 16th at 9:10 PM, I was sexually harassed by the man wearing the green shirt. During the incident, he exposed himself to me without my consent. I immediately reported the incident to staff, expecting them to intervene and address the behavior. Instead, no action was taken. I am submitting this to document both the incident and the lack of response after I reported it. The most concerning part was not only the harassment itself, but that staff were made aware that a man intentionally flashed me and chose not to respond. A business has a responsibility to provide a safe environment for its guests and to take reports of sexual misconduct seriously. I am requesting that management review what happened, speak with the staff involved, and address why no action was taken. Customers deserve to know that if they report sexual misconduct, they will be protected and supported. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who expects a safe environment.

We were 3 of us. Ordered 3 differenr beers. 2 beers were fine. One beer Asahi draft has gone bad, smelled really rotten and tasted bad. All 3 of us tried it and nobody could drink it. When we try to explain it to the owner she said "I already poured it in the cup so 🤷 I can give you another beer but still I will charge you for this one also. When we asked her to smell it she said "I don't drink beer so I don't know how it should smell". The beer obviously smelled and tastes bad. She said ooh I sell this beer all the time and stuff. When she finally smelled it and we gave her 2 other beers to smell she said "of course it smells different because it is another beer". Asahi beer should not smell rotten and sour I drank Asahi beer for years and I know exactly how it has to smell and taste. When we asked the owner to change it and give us another beer she refused she said she will still charge for that one. Never seen such an awful service in my life. Just change the beer and give the other one. In the end we just left it there because nobody could drink it and still paid 75 HKD for it. Worst experience in years don't recommend anybody if you don't want to get poisoned by overdue beer

For all the places to eat in Hong Kong, this would not be one of them. There is no service, food was subpar and it's so cramped and loud. Look at this place as a pub for a beer and that is it. Beer selection is not deep, fyi. We tried it, but personally, I'm a one and done.

Decent place, with a decent selection of beer. Happy hour is about half price on all drinks which is very nice. We got a guiness and a red house wine which was very smooth. The place is located on the main street and fairly clean. It was not crowded and not loud so very good for a talk with friends

Went here for a breakfast and it was okay. The omelet is not so omelet. Vegetables were fried separately and folded by the fried eggs. Portion is huge specially the big breakfast. Although sausage were deep fried and tasted old. Service were amazing, the waitress is engaging and friendly.
