Cuisine Culture, a Western or Italian restaurant in Central, Central and Western, is at Room203, 2/F, 2 D'Aguilar St, Central, Hong Kong Island. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.
Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Many Western restaurants offer weekday set lunches that cost less than dinner; mention any food allergies when ordering.
Opening hours: Mon–Sat 12:00–15:00 and 18:30–22:00, Sun closed. It is open 6 days a week. Lunch and dinner are served in separate sessions with a break in between. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 2608 9191. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first.
Customers give it an average of 4.4 out of 5 on Google (260 reviews), a high score by any measure.
Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

Visited for a friend’s birthday and wanted somewhere comfortable, convenient and good value for a relaxed dinner — Cuisine Culture was a great choice. Just a few minutes from Central MTR. Loved the rich lobster soup, the foie gras with baguette (surprisingly light and refined), and the garlic porcini pasta was full of flavour. The veal was tender and well-seasoned, and the apple pie with ice cream ended the meal perfectly. A lovely French restaurant to enjoy at a slower pace.

The two of us ordered a full table of food. Not only was it super aesthetic and perfect for photos, but everything tasted amazing: 🍲 French Onion Soup The broth was incredibly rich, and the onions were cooked down until perfectly sweet and tender. The bread on top completely soaked up all that flavorful soup, paired with half-melted cheese... every single bite felt so comforting and warm 🧀 👅 Ox Tongue The texture was so bouncy and perfectly tender with just the right amount of snap! It was cooked beautifully, and when dipped into the sauce, it was incredibly appetizing. We polished this plate off so fast 😋 🥩 Wagyu Beef Cheek This is a MUST-TRY! 🌟 The beef cheek was braised until absolutely melt-in-your-mouth tender. The beef flavor was so rich, and that sauce was pure perfection. Absolute heaven, you have to order this! 🍝 Spaghetti Bacon Black Truffle The rich aroma of black truffle hit us the moment it arrived at the table 🖤 The spaghetti had the perfect al dente bite, and every single strand was beautifully coated in a creamy truffle sauce. Combined with the savory bacon, it was a total cheat-meal indulgence, but I honestly couldn't stop eating 🤤 🍰 Daily Dessert Girls always have

Well hidden gem in the heart of central and Lam Kwai Fong. The chef/owner is super friendly and always delivers great food! Fresh salad, really tasty garlic bread, and great proteins served with generous portion!

This cozy little gem offers a refreshing take on French cuisine—elegant, nourishing, and unmistakably heartfelt. The concept is simple yet rare: every dish is crafted with olive oil, giving traditional French fare a lighter, health-conscious twist. And for dessert? The highest praise a Hong Kong diner can offer—“not too sweet.” 🥣 Gratinée French Onion Soup A soul-warming start. The broth is rich and deeply caramelized, with onions that melt into velvet. The gratinée topping—golden, bubbling cheese over a crisp olive oil-brushed crouton—adds just the right indulgence without heaviness. It’s comfort in a bowl, minus the guilt. 🥗 Fig and Walnut Salad A masterclass in balance. Sweet figs, earthy walnuts, and peppery greens are dressed in a delicate olive oil vinaigrette that sings with acidity and fragrance. It’s the kind of salad that feels like a main event, not an afterthought. 🍷 Slow-Cooked Wagyu Beef Cheek in Red Wine with Baguette This dish is a quiet triumph. The wagyu cheek is impossibly tender, having surrendered to hours of slow cooking in a red wine reduction that’s both bold and nuanced. The baguette—crisp outside, pillowy inside—is perfect for mopping up every last drop.

Venue: cozy setting. Not fine dining. Rather noisy. Not so french feeling. One toilet was gwell maintained. --- 7.3/10 Service: like a family run. Not a professional type, but they tried their best. Water was provided after to be seated. Food served fast in correct order. Friendly staff. Tend to let us share dishes. Not fine dining standard. --- 7.6/10 F&B: Bilingual menu. Good presentation but not delicated. Normal portion. Prices are slightly on high side but acceptable. - Baked Escargot with Garlic & Herb, $138: not enough potato mash beneath the snail shell. It's also not silky enough. --- 7.3/10 - Gratinee French Onion Soup Toast & Gruyere, $88: not much butter flavor. --- 7.5/10 - French Duck Confit & Duck Fat Potato, $228: served with simple Balsamic Vinegar dressing salad. Duck Fat Potatoes were good. The confit Duck Leg with crispy skin wasn't moist inside. --- 7.9/10 - Seafood with Black Ink Spaghetti, $208: paste was al dente. There were 3 scallops and 1 king prawn and cherry tomatoes. We supposed there're at least 3 kinds of seafood. But, cooked well. Ice cream had nuts. --- 8.3/10 - Apple Pie with Ice cream, $88: the presentation wasn't attractive. Puff past
