Cha chaan teng and bing sutt menus are long, running from milk tea, pineapple buns and toast to rice plates, macaroni soup and fried noodles, with set menus at breakfast and tea time. The office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00) is the busiest, so come earlier or later for a calmer meal; many shops pin the day's specials and prices on the wall. You can ask for no ice, less sugar or a hot drink instead when ordering; the set meals of the day usually change daily.

Opening hours: Mon–Sat 08:00–20:30, Sun closed. That makes 6 working days a week. You can call 9521 1880; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Dig the old school classic vibes. Only tried their scrambled egg and char siu sandwich. It was okay. Meat could use a bit more fat. Drinks were traditional HK style. The other dishes I saw served look good. Probably come back for another round for some proper dishes. A well written Cantonese menu. Well done!

An amazing authentic Hong Kong café! I cannot recommend this place enough. From the authentic green leather booths to the big band music and the milk tea, to the friendly service - this place is a 💎! Try the peanut butter fried toast, red bean milk tea, lemon soda, and pork fried rice. Come here for an authentic Hong Kong experience!

Food is okay and the portion is definitely worth the money. The set meals are very value for money. Will not travel all the way out here for the food though. Watch out for the surprise after you polish off your plate.

Chanced upon this place and had the best scallion oil pork chop of my life here. The Iberico char siew is really nice too, gives the char siew a very soft texture. One of the staff was telling us that they roast the char siew in-house too! Friendly, helpful staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Excellent crispy pepper shrimp flat noodles. 脆脆椒香蝦球炒河 The staff was nice. The truffle bacon french toast was very unusual. I thought it was savory but it's actually sweet.
