We visited Rose Kitchen in Wan Chai for weekday lunch around 12 pm with three people, and luckily we got seated straight away with no waiting time. Overall it was a casual standard cha chaan teng lunch with mixed results across our dishes. We ordered their fried chicken first. While the meat inside was tender enough, the skin was disappointing this time around. It lacked crispiness, which took away one of its main selling points 🍗 By contrast, the beef brisket noodle bowl was a pleasant surprise. The brisket was well‑braised, soft and full of flavour, paired nicely with the soup and noodles. It stood out as the best dish of our meal 🍜 The stir‑fried beef ho fun was just average. It did not have enough wok hei. Service was quick for a midday rush 😌

Great spring chicken. Juicy, crispy and tender. Full of flavours. Other food are also reasonably acceptable. You will need to be prepared to stand in line to get in but food are served relatively quick after order is taken. A must try if you are around wan chai.

Came here for the spring chicken, definitely 5 star for that item, super juicy and I love the skin. The rest is just the rest 😂😂 Fresh lemon green tea also a good drink to go with the crispy chicken. Tips for foreigner, rehearse ordering your items before the staff come over 😅

The stir fry noodles are good. The rest are not special. They are famous of the half chicken with rice or fries. Staffs are not young generation so expect a pure local treatment with loud voice 🤣, dont get offended, its hk nature..

it's very famous for its grilled chicken here, indeed it tastes very good. the juice and oil rushed out once cut open, and it's tender. the second dish we had was the lamb hotpot, great for winter. and i appreciate the hotpot to serve for 1 person's size. it requires a little waiting at the door and sit like local cha chaan teng, not comfy. very reasonable price as a cha chaan teng too.
