Day One Cafe is a café in Kwun Tong, at 九龍觀塘開源道60號駱駝漆大廈3座6樓U01室. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.
Cafés, bakeries, dessert and drinks shops are often mainly takeaway with a few seats, and weekend afternoons are the busiest. Many accept Octopus, credit cards and e-wallets, and some run loyalty schemes or pre-orders; birthday cakes and festive boxes (mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, for example) usually need ordering in advance, a few days ahead on popular dates. If you plan to work or study in a café, check for power sockets and any seating time limit.
Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 11:30–23:30, Sat–Sun 11:30–21:30. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 3619 5722; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. More information is on its website, instagram.com.
It has a Google rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 188 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.
Kwun Tong is part of the Kwun Tong District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Many Kwun Tong industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios; note the building name and floor, as access can differ in the evening and at weekends.

A really nice surprise to find a friendly and cool looking place to enjoy a coffee. Very friendly and agreeable service, quite a nice coffee and a good place to chill. It is a little challenging to find but if you go there once you’ll find it on the subsequent visits. My only minor comment is that the coffee should be a little stronger in my cappuccino. However, it’s not a dealbreaker and I would highly recommend this place to try. It’s a great place in Kwun Tong and thanks to the staff for their welcome and efforts.

The bitter, nutty, and slightly floral taste of the Koyamaen Matcha powder is prevalent in the matcha latte without the sugar added. They did a decent job at making it less clumpy. Taste: 7.94/10 Visuals: 8/10 Overall Score: 7.97/10

The food was really good. Especially their pasta, Canadian pork chop. I brought my family here and they all loved it. All the stuff were very friendly. Their coffee is also fantastic. The price is really reasonable.

**Baked BBQ Pork Ribs with Mashed Potatoes – $148** These pork ribs are marinated in a bold, tangy BBQ sauce that strikes the perfect balance between sweet and sour, with a subtle spicy kick that lingers just enough. The ribs are generously portioned — five hefty bones, each nearly the size of a palm, and every bite is packed with deep, smoky flavor thanks to the long marination time. The dish comes with roasted cherry tomatoes and okra on the side, adding a burst of sweetness and earthiness. The mashed potatoes are silky smooth and creamy, maintaining a light, fluffy texture even after baking. **Tiramisu Foam Coffee – $68** A creative signature drink that blurs the line between dessert and coffee. Infused with authentic mascarpone cheese, this foam-topped coffee delivers the unmistakable flavor of a classic tiramisu in sip form. It comes with four ladyfinger biscuits on the side — perfect for dunking or nibbling while you sip, bringing the whole tiramisu experience to life in a cup.
