Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Many Kwun Tong industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios; note the building name and floor, as access can differ in the evening and at weekends.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5 Stars) An Industrial Cafe with a Standout Sweet Conclusion Located amidst the industrial, factory-style backdrop of Kwun Tong, Nutmad offers a relaxed brunch setting with some surprising highs. The Savory Courses: I opted for the Piggy Carbonara Spaghetti and the daily special, a Thai Iberico Pork Patty with a wrap. While the ingredients were adequate, the execution of the savory dishes was somewhat ordinary. Both plates were perfectly acceptable for a standard brunch but lacked the technical distinction or flavor elevation needed to make them memorable. The Sweet Conclusion: The absolute highlight of the meal—and the primary reason for a return visit—is the French Toast Tiramisu. This dessert demonstrated a remarkable mastery of flavor balancing. The tableside pouring of warm espresso brought the entire dish together; the robust bitterness of the coffee cut perfectly through the rich, sweet elements of the toast and cream. The resulting harmony of flavors on the palate was exceptional and earned a definite "wow." Verdict: While the savory mains are standard cafe fare, Nutmad is well worth a visit for its ambiance and the highly executed, flawlessly balanced Frenc

3.5⭐️ Appeals to the instagram generation. Personally I prefer my tiramisu made the traditional way, but it was interesting. Staff were nice and polite. But everyone (customers and staff 🤣) seemed to be on their phones!

Highly recommended!! After navigating what some might call a sketchy labyrinth on the 9th floor 🤔, you stumble upon this hidden coffee spot. The food is incredibly tasty, everything is made from scratch and tastes heavenly.

The restaurant is an upstairs boutique located between Ngau Tau Kok and Kwun Tong, not very close to the MTR station, inside an industrial building. The restaurant is brightly lit and the seating area is spacious. There is a wide selection of dishes available. I ordered the Smoked Piggy Carbonara priced at $128, which not only looked impressive but also captured our attention before even tasting it. The pasta had a good texture and the flavor was enjoyable. The complimentary daily soup served at lunch was a bit mild in taste, but still acceptable. A notable point to remember is that they only accept cash. Due to the open kitchen setup, one might leave with a slight lingering oily smell after the meal.

This cafe is a true delight! The classic French Toast & traditional Carbonara are both outstanding, prepared with evident skill! This cafe also has a wonderful old Hong Kong atmosphere, with charming vintage decor that adds to the experience. It's a place that clearly takes pride in what it does, and it shows in every bite!
