I needed to have a gown repaired for a function during the 4 days that I was in HK . I brought it to Dorothy’s Alteration at Central the day I landed in HK and my request for a rush alteration was accepted for an extra charge which I did not mind at all. On the day of the pick up, I messaged them to ask if I can come earlier since I was in the area.It seems that we had a misunderstanding on the fitting date and pick up. However, I must give it to them because despite the misunderstanding on the scheduled fitting date and pick up, they delivered on time. I am very happy with the gown but most importantly, I was able to take it with me when I departed HK and was able to wear it to my function. The repair made the gown fit beautifully like a glove . Thank you so much 🙏🏻“Auntie” Dorothy , Gigi and Yukiki! You guys are the best!

Had to hand stitch 2 patches on pilot briefcase. Good job but a bit overpriced compared to other services around Hong Kong. Check world wide house, Welland building, peninsula centre Basement. Also many other good tailors and alterations places around Central

Takes about a week to turn around and finish is great on the trousers I had hemmed. They whatsapp to confirm collection time. Cash or local payment transfers only!

Really happy with the quality of alterations Dorothy has made so far. Higher quality than I’ve experienced elsewhere, nicer facilities, reasonable prices and quick turnaround time. She offers great service with whatsapp messaging, ensuring staff speak English. Great quality.

I had the best experience with Dorothy Alterations! I bought a sample sale wedding dress so the size was too big and required a very large alteration. I needed to get the waist, bust, and length all changed. They were very detailed and made this dress fit me perfectly!! I was so impressed with the craftsmanship and the work they did on the dress. They were also able to turn it around in 1 week for my first fitting and finish up the rest in 2 days. They are also so friendly and speak good English. Definitely recommend coming here!
