It pays to compare prices before you buy and to check that the price shown includes everything. Octopus, credit cards, FPS and e-wallets work in most shops, though small ones may be cash only or set a minimum for cards; weekend and public-holiday afternoons are busiest, so weekday daytime is better for a relaxed browse. Mall websites and signs show car parks, toilets and information counters, and some offer parking discounts for shoppers.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 10:00–23:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2359 7892. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first.
It has a Google rating of 3.6 out of 5 from 323 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.
Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Great place if you collect coins and bank notes!

Many numismatic and stamp shops to explore in one building, their prices are varied--some reasonable but others not so much. Lots of dealers are accommodating even if there are language barriers, but unfortunately many shops were closed on the day I visited so I will probably come back in the future to see if I have a better experience.

good shop with reasonable prices for banknotes. Nice owner… a bit hard to find so when looking for the shop watch out for the shop sign. It’s just at the corner , next to the money exchange . More numismatic shops inside the building. New sign iutside in both Chinese /English do easier to recognise for non Chinese speaking customers … go there later in the afternoon as many shops won’t open before …
