Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

This shopping mall was quite enjoyable to visit. There are plenty of eateries, making it easy to grab a bite while exploring and the layout is simple to walk around. Overall, it’s a fairly standard mall, but what makes it especially convenient is its direct connection to both the subway and bus station, a smart design that makes access effortless. It’s an ideal spot for friends, family, or anyone looking to take care of everyday shopping needs while enjoying a relaxed outing.

This shopping mall is directly on top of the Mongkok East station, and a short walk from the famous night markets. What stood out for me were the great variety of restaurants at various price points, increasing as you ascend the floors. My favourites include: Sushiro, Pepper Lunch, Momoko and more. Another thing I like was the big presence of collectables and toy stores. There is also a very cool DIY baking studio called Home Baking Day, perfect for dates. To top it all off, there is the premium Japanese supermarket Yata where you can buy delicious hotpot meat or ready-to-eat sushi.

A+++++ mall. Attached to a hotel, on top of a subway station, and has huge playground for kids. What isn’t to like about this mall. It’s huge and has everything you can think of. Thank you for the lovely base for the 4 days I was here with my family.

MOKO Mall in Mong Kok is a sleek, modern shopping destination that stands out in the bustling heart of Kowloon. One of its biggest highlights is the exceptionally clean and well-maintained toilets—something that’s always a pleasant surprise in such a busy area! The mall features a wide variety of popular international and local brands across fashion, accessories, cosmetics, electronics, and more, along with plenty of dining options ranging from casual eateries to full restaurants. Conveniently located right above Mong Kok East MTR Station, it’s easy to reach and perfect for a one-stop shopping and dining experience. Highly recommended if you’re in the neighborhood!

Lovely mall, connects to the Mong Kok East station. There’s a big playground. A few new restaurants, including the ever popular seafood buffet. Most of the stores here are also Japanese shops.
