Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Noodle texture is very unique to hong kong - thin and crunchy, coupled with a very soothing soup and a big bite of dumpling. Taste wise wont make me repeat, but the fried wonton is pretty good

Used to frequent here long before they were awarded the Michelin award in the early 2010s. The noodle are hand made daily and are very fine. The taste are acceptable. Limited seating.

Is it the best noodle place we have tried in our lifetime? No, but is it one of the best in Mong Kok? Yes. Everything we ordered tasted good. - Deed fried fish balls (蜆蚧鯪魚球) is filled with fish paste and little starch. Bouncy in the middle and crunch on top. 5/5. - Wonton noodle soup is great. Their broth is traditional and yummy. 5/5. - Stewed beef dried noodles is decent. 4/5. - Fish filet, pork liver dried noodles is great. The noodles are my favorite, but even the pork liver is exceptional. 5/5. Recommend! Will love to return!

Walked pass and decided to eat here. We ordered the porridge and vegetables as we already ate lunch but just to try. I do like it as it's those traditional shop, staff was nice and you don't feel hurried to order. I can see locals and overseas friends eating. Check them out if you are around.

Good Hope Noodle is a classic old-school spot in Mong Kok, known for its traditional wonton noodles and local-style dishes. The location is convenient and it’s always busy, showing its popularity with both locals and tourists. That said, for me the experience was just average – the noodles were decent but not outstanding, and the service felt very much like a typical fast-paced Hong Kong eatery: efficient but not particularly friendly. Prices are fair considering the area, but overall it’s more of a place to grab a quick local meal rather than somewhere I’d go out of my way for.
