We went there late in the afternoon. We saw an old boar roaming around looking for food in the rubbish bin. There is a nice bbq area site nxt to the camp site. Very quiet place.

Not a very splendid stream as the falls are short and just few of them. Advantage is not many people coming here even in a hot summer.

Official camping area is actually quite limited. Although you may set tents at some other flat grass area near the bbq stoves as seen in my pic attached, please make sure you set them after 6pm and put down before 8:30am to avoid being charged by the country park staff. The wild boars in this area are quite fierce. They will come to search for food from every evening to late mid night. They will crash down all rubbish bins around. Make sure you put all your food and rubbish far away from your tent or hanging up on the tree.

Deep inside Sai Kung country park, so remote enough to be fairly unspoiled, but easy enough to reach to not be a chore. Simple facilities, with areas to pitch tents, nearby bbq pits and a public toilet with running water (not safe to drink though) and squatty bogs. Not posh enough to call "glamping", but rustic enough to at least feel authentic. No shops within walking distance, so come prepared. A number 7 green minibus runs from Hoi Ha, presumably to the county park entrance but I haven't checked. Recommended; would bbq marshmallows again!
