Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

People who complain about the food, the service, the decor are missing the point. This is HK comfort food and it is served here in the most traditional way possible, at a relatively affordable price. Sure, the steaks are over seasoned and baking soda-ed to high heavens, the cream soup is a corn starch concoction and the buns are nuked to Valhalla and back. But it is authentic and tastes almost exactly the same as it did 3 decades ago. The only real complaint is the inexplicable abandonment of butter in favor of margarine for the buns. Whoever proposed that should be drawn, hung and quartered. 13/10 would recommend to anyone who are actually interested in tasting the REAL Hong Kong commonfolk western meal.

We were there on a Saturday for lunch, the price for the set lunches was very reasonable. I did not really like my meal very much. The soup was watery and full of MSG. I had the beef tongue with tomato sauce on rice. The tongue and the sauce were good but the rice was burning hot making the rice hard to eat. The milk tea at the end was too bitter and not enough milk.

🍽: Western Food 📍: Hong Kong, Mong Kok, Nathan Rd, 636號, Bank Centre, 2樓 #1: Massive portions, plates were surprising #2: Delicious Western cuisine #3: Black pepper sauce has right amount of kick #4: Lunch set offers great value for money Firstly, the portions were absolutely massive. I couldn't believe my eyes when the plates arrived at our table. You definitely won't leave hungry from this place! Now, onto the food itself. If you're a fan of delicious Western cuisine, this is the spot for you. The black pepper sauce deserves a special mention. It had just the right amount of kick, adding a delightful spicy twist to the meal. It really elevated the entire dining experience. ⚠️ Avoid the black pepper sauce if you don’t have a high tolerance for spicy. What's more, every meal comes with bread and butter, a simple yet comforting addition that complemented the flavours perfectly. I opted for one of their lunch sets, and I must say, it was great value for money. Not only did I get a generous main course, but it also came with soup and a drink. Talk about a satisfying meal deal! And let's not forget about the mix grill. This dish is perfect for sharing, as it's so huge that it ea

This western restaurant was located upstairs. No window view due to the interior decoration. The service of the staff was mildly acceptable, such as speaking tone too strict to the patrons, not actively taking order or cleaning the tables. Water and mask bag would be provided upon request. Food was satisfactory and quantity more than expected. Toilets were outside the restaurant at the end of the corridor which was quite bright and clean in the district. Price was moderate.
