Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Wow, way way better than expected!!!! Food was excellent! Got the baked oysters, spicy stir fry intestine, black beans spicy snails, mapo tofu, and spicy beef. The atmosphere and service was great like other mentioned. Our waitress was promoting Tsingtao and had couple sip with us. They were very accommodating, especially since we spoke 0 local language. Oysters - phenomenal! Got garlic and pepper topping. It was huge! Size of my 8yr old fist. He ended up eating 3 of the 4 we ordered. Snails - was so good, we got 2 orders. Our 10yr old ate the whole 1st portion. Mapo Tofu - so good. Nothing we taste in the US. Other 2 dish was great. Heck, even the spicy peanuts they gave as service sitting snack was good. Will go again!

Absolute next level establishment for a late night meal in Mong Kok. We arrived at about 23:45 on a Friday night and were warmly greeted by the various staff. They sat us down and got us beers straight away. The menus have somewhat of an English translation; however, I would recommend using a translator. The staff were very helpful with ordering as well. Heads up, the food is spicy… but not too spicy. The noodle dish was fantastic and one of the best spicy noodles I have had in Hong Kong. The vegetables had a wonderful flavour and were fresh. The fried rice was light and tasty. Surprisingly, the chicken wings were some of the best I have ever had. The vibe of the venue was really fun. There were lots of young people drinking and having a great time. I wish I had found this place way before my last night in town.

囍囍川菜燒烤: Spicy Roasted Fish with Mixed Results in Mong Kok 囍囍川菜燒烤 in Mong Kok offers a lively Sichuan‑style dining experience, and the signature spicy roasted fish hotpot was the highlight of the meal. The fish itself was tasty, cooked well, and soaked up the fragrant, spicy broth nicely. However, the side dish of luncheon meat was disappointing. The texture revealed a low meat content with more starch than expected, and considering the relatively high price for just a few slices, it didn’t feel worth it. We also tried a selection of skewers, which turned out quite good—flavorful, savory, and perfect as beer snacks. They added a fun and satisfying element to the meal. Overall, the restaurant delivers enjoyable flavors, especially with the fish and skewers

This restaurant is perfect for spicy food lovers! As soon as you step inside, the spicy aroma hits you 😋 Their signature dish, the "Water-boiled Fish Slices," is truly appetizing and goes well with rice! The "Stir-fried Chicken Innards with Sour Pickled Beans" is flavorful, tender, and has that wok hei 👍🏻 Next, we have the "Iron Plate Fatty Intestines," where the intestines are fried to a crispy texture and served with a special sauce that enhances the flavors! The "Spicy and Fragrant Big Prawns" are also outstanding, with fresh and succulent prawns that are bursting with flavor! The "Spicy Fish Skin" and "Pickled Pepper Chicken Feet" are also worth a try. The fish skin is delightfully crispy with a spicy kick, while the pickled pepper chicken feet have a tangy and spicy flavor, offering a crunchy and appetizing experience!
