We went to this restaurant "好彩海鲜酒家” for dinner. We specifically requested a whole roasted duck (to be honest, we couldn't finish one), but luckily the restaurant said they were sold out. So we suggested a double platter, roast goose and char siu. The roast goose was quite rare to find where we live; it was roasted to a wonderfully fragrant perfection with crispy skin. She then recommended the "Bamboo Fungus and Seafood Soup,(竹笙海皇羹)" which was indeed very tender and smooth, and while it tasted a bit like shark fin, it wasn't. We also ordered a mixed vegetable dish, which included Chinese broccoli, cauliflower, and tender wood ear mushrooms. A very fitting summer dish. A very satisfying dinner with good service and nice cook food. Clean environment.

typical dim sum experience. Large hall with seaview, chandeliers and always ready for a banquet kind of decoration. decent—not always consistent—quality of food, service and atmosphere. I’d give 3.5 stars everywhere. we usually go for dim sum. and today’s vegetarian dish 素鵝 tasted more like egg than the classic taste and texture with soy.

The Cantonese restaurant was located on the first floor of the old mall. There were both escalators and lift service. The place was bright since natural light was abundant from the window. Seaview was good, though the eatery was at a low level. Staff was not so adequate. The quality of food was average. Price was moderate. Toilets were outside the restaurant.

One of favorite local restaurants in East Tsim Sha Tsui. Came for a simple dinner. Braised grouper and Bitter melon pumpkin we’re good. Because of busy hour, they forgot to serve congee. Paul, the manager, apologized and promised to make things right on my next visit. We came again for simple dim sum. The minute I mention Paul’s name, his colleague called him. Quickly we were seated and started ordering. Paul came and checked to make sure everything is well. When we are enjoying delicious dim sum, Paul came and gave us a dish, and said “this is on me.” Everyone was attentive and helpful. Surprise - friends invited us to dinner and they chose Ho Choi! Again, foods were delicious. It was good to see Paul again. Staff were friendly and fast in taking care of us. Recent visit was consistently very good overall.

Nice dining environment with Victoria Harbour view & decent interior. Unit prices of dim sum generally not expensive but food quality was quite average. Staff service was acceptable & food delivery was partly automated with robots.
