It is a trip back in time a good glimpse of hong kong historical past and it's development throughout the years

This is the old Parade Ground within the Tai Kwun Heritage Centre. It is usually left as open space for visitors to Tai Kwun to view the nice architecture of the buildings within the complex. They have some seating under the large trees and alfresco dining opportunities where you can enjoy a meal or round of drinks around the Parade Ground. During holiday periods, the Parade Ground is put to good use with Festival decorations. The large Christmas Tree arrangements that have gone up in recent years has been atmospheric, CNY displays are nice as well.

An open and spacious courtyard space surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and heritage buildings. It’s a nice place to sit, relax, and take a break while exploring the Tai Kwun area. Fun fact: This area used to be the parade ground for the former Central Police Station, where police officers gathered for drills and inspections during the colonial period.

This is a historical area that's like a large public square. The buildings were government buildings that were used as prisons and police offices but this area has been gentrified and the buildings now have bars and restaurants. It's a nice public square.

2023 August 5★ Located inside 大館 Tai Kwun, this parade grounds is part of the old 1938 Central Police Station compound. Now, this area is kept open and offers a large area for gatherings and events. Tables or lounges may occupy some area. Very nice area with restaurants in the area. Provides a nice open space in the neighborhood.
