Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

Lovely noodles and roasted meat :) They also have steam chicken / soy sauce / salt baked chicken. I had the shredded chicken noodle and lowkey didnt slap as hard as their mix duo (soy sauce + steam chicken) My fam prefers chicken so we didnt try the other meats but based on inference the other meats should be pretty bomb. Dont get any drinks here… lemon water was so misleading the thing was so sweet i had diabetes mid meal.

Walked around the 3 block pocket of restaurants north of the Peninsula hotel one late afternoon in March and we found Gwing Kee's roast geese hanging in the front to be the best looking out of the other 5 places we looked at. The product matches the poster. Glad we went inside. The roast goose is really, really good. Female owner was friendly , polite, soft spoken and told us they roast the geese on site and roast a few every 3-4 hours to maintain a quality product. I can't speak for other items they have, but I would certainly return for the roast goose over rice.

The roasted goose was tasty but not the best I've had in Hong Kong. Char Siu was a bit dry but other dishes (like mushrooms with noodles) were great, and I'd imagine bigger portions for the prices - especially the five treasure dish. But I do recommend it if you're nearby and looking for something local.

Food was good and it was well priced. The bbq pork was yummy. I liked the cold dish with the spicy chicken feet and black ear mushroom. I would go back and try to roast goose.

First stop: roast goose, obviously. I had this place saved in my notes, no idea who told me about it but thank you to that person. It’s Gwing Kee, near West Tsim Sha Tsui station, and super close to my hotel this time, love that for me. The char siu and roast pork? So good. Properly roasted, juicy, crispy, everything you want. Easy thumbs up from me. Prices were reasonable, not crazy crowded, very comfortable vibe.
