Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

0 service with poor attitude, I’d give a 0.5 star if there’s option. Waitress kept asking us to shift personal belongings placed on empty chairs near us around, when there’s no one occupying those chair. No water, bowl or cutlery serviced until we asked. Ordered fried veggies, fried flat noodle w/ shrimp and pork neck, can tell all meat were defrosted - bland, grey, nearly sour. The veggies are super oily. Won’t pay to get myself into hospital again. Attached 2 photos for sharp contrast. The photo with pink plate is from Kin Kao and the other is from an adjacent Thai restaurant called “Zong Zap” we visited immediately after the Kin Kao dinner to get our tastebuds back on track. The pork neck from Zong Zap is what normal, fresh meat should look. I’m not paid to put in good/ bad reviews for any one but I’d definitely recommend Zong Zap.

A cozy neighborhood spot I’ve been visiting for years—perfect for casual Thai food. My go-to dishes are the pork knuckle on rice (so tender it melts in your mouth), the grilled pork skewers (that tangy, savory, spicy dipping sauce is everything), and the beef boat noodle soup. Great for a laid-back meal with reasonable prices!

Lovely little Thai place in Wanchai. Food was great, value for money, and service was friendly. The green papaya salad was very fresh and just the amount of spicy, sour and sweet. Loved the roasted peanuts in it. The Khao Soi was delicious and the chicken drumstick was very tender. Crab omelette was not as fluffy as I like but still good nonetheless. We’ll be back.

it's reasonably priced for the area and the food. the quality of the food was nice. I liked the staff cause they were smiley and had good energy. I also liked the warm and soft lighting. it makes it more relaxing than a lot of local restaurants with very harsh and super bright lighting. I think it's a great choice for tourists who are on a tight budget.

Food are quite tasty, but think they used too much mash, so you will get very thirsty after the meal. If you are garlic lover, you must try their chicken with garlic soy sauce, as is their signature dish. In terms of seafood, you can call up the restaurant and they can prearrange for you at reasonable price.
