Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

All food tastes good and in appropriate portion and reasonable priced. Staffs are nice and even there are time limit, food are not coming in rush. Can’t make reservation so have to queue up outside, but turnover is fast.

Delicious Thai food. Ordered a fried fish, grilled squid, basil pork with scrambled eggs, stir fried glass noodles and a pad see ew. Everything was beautifully cooked, nice charred taste. Portion sizes are moderate. A great meal but wasn’t full. Staff are nice and friendly.

Finally had the chance to visit this well-known Thai restaurant in Wan Chai. The stir-fried flat noodles and crab fried rice were both delicious, but the grilled pork neck was definitely the highlight—one of the best I've ever had. Great food at reasonable prices. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine.

The food was delicious. The pork was fried, yet it maintained its juiciness and flavour. The batter was not overpowering. Furthermore, the vermicelli was full of flavour, the sausages added acidity to the dish, and the vermicelli was cooked to perfection.

Wan Chai|mum mum thai | Casual Thai comfort Deep fried pork belly with green seafood sauce Small bites of pork belly quite crunchy on the outside and a soft, fatty centre. The green seafood sauce adds a bright and tangy note. The Tom Yum steamed egg with shrimp has a gentle Tom Yum aroma but the Tom yum soup at the side give strong spicy-sour punch which I like it more. The egg is quite smooth and soft, with shrimps adding a bit of sweetness and bite, making it a more homely, comforting dish than a bold one. Stir‑fried vermicelli with pickled pork and salty egg combines bouncy glass noodles with bits of pickled pork and savoury salted egg; flavours lean savoury with a light saltiness, good if you like something flavourful but not too wet or saucy. Stir‑fried garlic minced pork with scrambled egg is simple, rice‑friendly comfort food: minced pork with mild garlic aroma, topped or mixed with soft scrambled egg, giving each bite a creamy, homestyle feel. To drink, fresh lime soda is zesty and fizzy, cutting through the oil and waking up the palate, while the iced Thai milk tea is surprisingly not too sweet, appreicated. Finished with salted egg tofu ice cream, which has a smooth
