Been dining here since they were still in the old shop upstairs. Glad that they had moved to a much brighter and newly renovated place. The booth seating was comfortable. Staff would hand you an ipad for ordering. Not much service cause you basically had to go out there and ask for help. Food-wise nothing to complain. I love the food there.

Wow wow wow, saw this place as I was walking back to the hotel and so happy I chose to eat here! I chose light spicy and wish I would have done medium just to had tried it with more of a kick. I don’t really ever take leftovers home but it was so tasty I had to take it with me for a late night snack later on. Recommend the padrón peppers and the beef fried with scallion. You will not be disappointed!

🌶️金湯酸菜桂花魚 呢道主菜色澤鮮艷，湯底金黃透亮，啲魚全部都好滑嫩，睇到都流晒口水。我哋揀咗食桂花魚，因為桂花魚魚肉鮮嫩啲，啖啖肉，而且啲骨都好大條唔會驚哽親。食落每一啖都能感受到魚肉嘅鮮美同酸菜嘅爽口，非常開胃。 酸菜魚配菜我哋揀咗肥牛、娃娃菜同大豆芽菜，每一種配料都為整體增添咗唔同層次感，襯埋個湯底真係好好味。 肥牛唔係平時打邊爐嗰種好薄嘅肥牛，都幾厚肉。娃娃菜同大豆芽菜襯埋啲酸菜，味道同口感都啱啱好。果然係呢度台台都嗌嘅一道菜。 🌶️清炒萵筍絲 呢道小菜睇似簡單，但其實係我最期待嘅一道。 因為其實整萵筍絲係要花好多功夫，萵筍絲快炒之後都保持到原有嘅新鮮同脆嫩，我同朋友都好快清晒成碟。 廚師用心調味，完全唔油膩，非常適合搭配啲重口味主菜。 我覺得呢道素菜喺繁重肉類之中，可以加翻啲清爽感，真係好正！ 🌶️脆皮牛奶卷 呢道菜一出嚟就已經吸引到我，金黃酥脆嘅外皮真係好靚。 外皮炸到啱啱好，入面就係柔滑嘅牛奶餡，口感對比真係令人驚喜！呢個牛奶卷唔單止好睇，食落去更加一口接一口，三舊真係唔係好夠，好想嗌多啲。 呢道菜真係好適合開胃小食 最後我同朋友一人嗌咗一杯嘢飲， 包括凍檸茶，同埋凍奶茶。 不得不提嘅係呢度仲有啲免費小食可以食，包括手拍青瓜。 環境又坐得舒服，下次會再同朋友嚟！

🥘麻辣乾鍋，一嚟到已經見到好多嘅辣椒，真係令我哋留口水都流埋，我同朋友本身非常鍾意食川菜，所以見到網上呢一間新嘅餐廳評價都唔錯，所以先過嚟幫襯！果然冇令我哋失望！有豬肉卷土豆魷魚白蘭花，每一個項目都非常入味，豬肉卷嘅味道再加埋本身辣辣地，我哋都覺得非常容易入口，入口亦都唔會有一種好強好唱口嘅麻辣味道，呢個位控制得非常好，亦都食到廚師嘅鑊氣！我同朋友本身都非常鍾意食魷魚，辣魷魚，非常爽口彈牙，非常好吃！土豆片就有啲咬口，整體我哋都覺得呢一個麻辣乾鍋都做得唔錯！ 🥘手爪餅非常香脆，而且份量絕對唔少，我同朋友都幾鍾意佢香脆口感，作為小食嚟講我哋都覺得唔差！ 🥘擔擔面嘅味道非常傳統，而且辣辣地嘅口感令我哋非常開胃！分量都唔少再加埋本身其他香菜嘅配合，令到成個口感更加多元化！面質嚟講，我哋都覺得唔錯，餐廳唔會煮得太軟身，保持個面嘅口感同埋咬口，所以我哋都覺得正！ 🥘餐廳出邊自助區亦都有好多唔同，川菜嘅小食包括有手拍嘅青瓜，有啲驚喜嘅係任食，味道嚟講都非常唔錯，我覺得非常爽口！作為前菜令我哋非常開胃，啱晒鍾意食小食嘅朋友！酸蘿蔔都有少少辣，不過朋友就話非常好食，因為佢切得好薄，所以成個味道非常入！整體都唔差！ 🥤最後加多罐王老吉甜甜地作結！都幾好飲好耐冇飲過！

On Portland Street right behind Langham Place, we spotted a couple of Sichuan restaurants, of which Lao Chuan Huang already occupied two shops. Since we preferred somewhere more cozy, we decided to pop in to grab dinner. Deep-fried Mantou Cute bite-size mantou. Served with sweetened condensed milk. Guests might choose steamed/deep-fried/half half. Sichuan Fish w/ Pickled Cabbage The lunch set was only $68. Didn't expect such a big portion! Also came with noodles or rice at your choice. The fish was cooked to perfection with a smooth and tender flesh. Saliva Chicken Ordered half a chicken. The sauce loaded with chopped chili and peanuts was delectable and savory. Stir-fried Eggplant & Green Beans Freshly fried. The oil was able to keep the eggplant hot for a long time. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Big portions in general. Worth trying if you're around Mongkok!
