Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. We ordered their set dinner for $538 (before 10% service charge), which included half a pot of double-boiled soup, the signature ice-roasted three-layer pork belly, and lobster yi mein. We also added a mango pomelo sago for dessert. Starting with the soup: It was excellent — rich, flavorful, and very comforting. Even though it was only half a pot, there was enough for each of us to have two full bowls. Highly recommended⭐️ The ice-roasted three-layer pork belly was the dish I had been looking forward to the most. It performed okay — nothing wrong with it, but it was just average. The lobster yi mein was also average. The lobster was fine, but the yi mein noodles were a bit too wet and soggy overall. Not particularly memorable, so I wouldn’t recommend it. For dessert, we had the mango pomelo sago (楊枝甘露). This was actually the main reason I wanted to come — it was quite good with plenty of ingredients and a refreshing taste, though I personally felt it could have been a little sweeter. Overall, the food was stable and reliable but didn’t wow us, so I give it a 7/10. However, the restaurant’s ambiance is very pleasant and elegant, and the service was excellent — attentive, profes

Great food. Seafood here is very fresh, prepared with care and appropriately seasoned. Duck was excellent too. Service was attentive and the interior was clean. The restaurant is in the basement but do not be deterred from visiting.

Super lovely fresh Grouper Steamed with soy sauce. Crispy pigeons and most authentic peking ducks are the best dishes. They will charge you corkage for the wines you take on your own. Although they also have a good selection of wines.

Lei Garden – Refined Cantonese Dining Near The Royal Garden Hotel Lei Garden is an exceptional Cantonese restaurant located near The Royal Garden Hotel, renowned for its consistent Michelin-star recognition over the years. The food quality is outstanding — the sea cucumber and soup are both exquisite, full of depth and delicate flavors. The poached shrimp is incredibly fresh and naturally sweet. With impeccable service and elegant ambiance, this is truly one of Hong Kong’s finest spots for refined Cantonese cuisine.

We visited specifically to try dinner and compare the consistency and diversity with the Singapore branch. The food was fantastic! Highlights included the Peking duck, silky smooth tofu with assorted veggies, and the soup of the day. However, the star of the show was the preserved meat sausage clay pot rice - warm, fragrant, and delicious to the last crunchy bite. The staff were extremely friendly, particularly Connie and Anthony, who were helpful and chatty. They even gave us tips on places to visit in HK. We finished the meal with a satisfying dessert round, featuring red bean soup, hot almond cream, and guilinggao. Overall, we had a superb time and highly recommend this restaurant. The food is consistently good, and the quality justifies the price. You won't regret it - do come and experience it for yourself!
