Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Loved my meal at Two Greens in Hong Kong! The nostalgic cha chaan teng vibe is super cozy and authentic. Here’s what I tried: • Bak Kut Teh Noodles: Tender pork ribs simmered in a peppery, aromatic broth, paired with silky rice noodles—warm and comforting. • Slippery Egg & Char Siu Rice: Fluffy runny eggs cover savory char siu, topped with crispy shallots and scallions. The sauce is so flavorful, it’s perfect for scooping up every grain of rice. • Pan-Fried Cheong Fun with Egg: Crispy on the outside, chewy inside, the cheong fun is wrapped in runny egg and drizzled with savory sauce—textures and tastes are on point. • Iced Lemon Tea: Strong, refreshing, and the ideal palate cleanser for rich Malaysian-style dishes. The only downsides are the small space and wait times during peak hours, but the great value and delicious food make it totally worth it. A must-try spot!

When first looking at their menu, you can sense that the owner is from Malaysia — and yes, that was confirmed after we asked the staff. The food is very nice; unfortunately, they don’t serve local coffee or milk tea. Only pre-made drinks or canned drinks are available.

One of those sinful meals that's totally worth it. Pork lard rice is my weakness, and while the bak kut teh xiao long bao had a comforting soup, the dumpling itself wasn't as memorable. The deep fried chicken wings were crispy and flavourful. Pure enjoyment from start to finish ☺️

It’s a very small shop with limited seating, so you may have to wait outside for a bit . The shop has a old school hole in a wall theme with neon signs. I ordered a noodle soup, boiled veges, rice noodle rolls and pork patty +fried egg on rice. As other reviews have commented, the rice dish is a typical comfort food dish complemented with chilli sauce sitting on the tables. It was really nice and just very wholesome. They don’t have a big menu but going at least once is thoroughly recommended.

It is a nice little Malaysian bistro with interesting decor. The food itself is ok but a tiny bit overrated hence didn’t wow as much. The back kit teh is not really Malaysian or Singaporean .. kinda an adapted one. Food in general was good, portion is small and can try different dish. The seasoning was definitely raw without much mag which was good. Price wise seems ok but because it’s popularity, can only do a quick eat and run as each table is only allowed 1 hour to consume. Also, seating is only assigned when all have arrived. Seating is ok but a bit crowded and everything being served really quickly.
