Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

Service is typical HK rudeness, wants you in and then wants you out. The food is definitely worth the hassle. Always go for wonton noodles but for me, portion size are very small I had to order another plate of beer brisket and beef tendons, all thanks to a couple sharing the same table with me

Had the wonton shrimp roe dry noodles. Was tasty. Would recommend. They have two stores within walking distance. So if one is full you can go to the other.

Very old school authentic wonton noodle with roe was what was ordered. It was springy and with the roe the noodle had the perfect taste. The soup was flavourful. The black mushroom was also awesome. It was not overly sweet and to me perfectly done. The latter would GO really well with rice. The coke was also very old school. MUST TRY!

Had a great meal at Lau Sum Kee Noodle! The place feels very authentic – a true Hong Kong diner vibe where you sometimes share a table with locals. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and there’s an English menu, which makes ordering easy. My noodles with shredded pork and clams were really tasty and came out quickly. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size. Definitely a must-try spot if you want to experience local food culture in Hong Kong!

This restaurant has two branches located near each other at Sham Shui Po. This one is at Fuk Wing street while the other one is just around the corner at Kweilin. This restaurant is famous for its bamboo noodle and my favourite version of their noodles is the tossed noodles with shrimp roe and wantons although the version with cow stomach isn't bad.
