Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. Under Hong Kong law, businesses may not sell or supply alcohol to anyone under 18, so bars may ask for ID. Many run happy-hour deals in the early evening, weekends are the liveliest, and some venues have a minimum spend or a cover charge; for live music or private events, ask for details first.

Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 2111 1707. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, loungehakuba.com.

It has a Google rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 241 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.

Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Tasting Menu for Two โ€“ $640 The Negitoro Tartare came mixed with chopped scallions, shredded egg, and ikura, giving it a nice mix of textures and layers of flavor. The tuna was fresh with no fishy taste, and the texture was really smooth โ€” light and not greasy at all. They also served it with crispy seaweed sheets so you could wrap your own bites. It felt a bit like eating mini hand rolls, which added a fun, interactive element. The seaweed added a nice crunch and worked really well with the tuna and ikura. The Beef Tenderloin Chunks were presented in a glass jar, and as soon as you opened it, there was a gentle smoky aroma from the apple wood โ€” not too strong, just a light, slightly sweet smokiness that was really pleasant. The beef was seared just right โ€” a little crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. On top, there were some crispy garlic bits, which gave a nice crunch. The garlic flavor was subtle and didnโ€™t overpower the beef or the smoke, just added a light touch that actually brought everything together. The Japanese Seafood Paella was generous with the ingredients โ€” razor clams, clams, Argentine red prawns, and halibut. Everything was fresh with no unpleasant s

I recently celebrated Christmas Eve at this charming restaurant that offers a delightful set dinner for two at a reasonable price. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a festive gathering. The set dinner for two was an incredible value, featuring an enticing selection of appetizers and mains. Together with our cocktail choice number three and number four (perfect for Gin lover), it was very festive. We began with a trio of appetizers: torched salmon, torched Hokkaido scallops, and wasabi octopus. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The torched salmon was rich and smoky, while the scallops were tender and sweet, showcasing their freshness. The wasabi octopus had just the right amount of kick, adding an exciting contrast to the other dishes. This combination was a delightful start to our meal. Next, we tried the agedashi tofu, which was a highlight of the dinner. The tofu was perfectly fried, with a crispy exterior that gave way to a silky smooth center. The yuzu honey chicken wings were a crowd-pleaser. These wings were crispy and glazed with a sweet yuzu sauce that added a refreshing citrus twist. The balance of sweetness and t

We ordered the 4 person sets which included 17 different dishes. The portion is certainly more than enough. All the dishes look amazing, but the taste is a bit... disappointing. They seemed to have a lot of toppings but they taste pretty flavourless...The dinner was quite disappointed :(

I recently visited "Hakuba Izakaya" in Causeway Bay for the second time, and my impression remains excellent. The restaurant has a spacious layout with dim lighting, creating a charming ambiance. Recently, they introduced a new set menu, the "Iza Lounge Hakuba Set for Two," which is incredibly worth it. (เธ‡ ห™oห™)เธง ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Set Menu for Two: $650 ๐“‚ƒ๐“‚‚๐–กผ Appetizer - Spicy Octopus, Seared Hokkaido Scallop, Seared Salmon My dining companion loved the octopus appetizer. The smoky and tender octopus mixed with wasabi was very appetizing. Personally, I enjoyed the seared Hokkaido scallop. The lightly seared surface emitted a delightful aroma, and the texture was both refreshing and flavorful. ๐“‚ƒ๐“‚‚๐–กผ Skewers - Runny Egg Pork Rolls, Shiso Chicken Thigh, Mentaiko Yam, Enoki Beef Rolls I must say, I really liked the diverse menu. It was a joy to sample a wide variety of items. As soon as this plate arrived, I knew it would be amazing! The Enoki beef rolls were exceptionally delicious, with juicy bursts of flavor from the mushrooms. Taking a big bite of the runny egg was a delightful experience, with the egg yolk exploding in my mouth. ๐“‚ƒ๐“‚‚๐–กผ Specialty Dishes - Deep-fried Tofu with Honey and Yuzu Chicken
