Hong Kong has plenty of street snacks and budget eateries, with prices shown on the menu or price board and usually no service charge. Lunchtime and the evening rush are busiest, so take away or avoid the peak if you are in a hurry; some small shops close when they sell out or shut early in the evening, so check the hours before making a special trip. At cart-noodle shops you pick the noodles and toppings and pay by the number of toppings; congee shops often open early for breakfast.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 11:30–22:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 3751 6966. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, kokorohkg.com.
Customers give it an average of 4.3 out of 5 on Google (463 reviews), a high score by any measure.
Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

My 2nd Mazesoba ever, the dish itself is quite good, firm noodles good flavors. Just a touch under seasoned for my palate. There is no broth in this dish, you just mix it and eat, so my review may be biased as I lean toward a broth dish with noodles. Good service, well priced and really filling meal.

okay ramen spot 🍜 ordered chicken soup ramen. flavour was ok but meat was dry and a little flavourless. eggs were delicious and bamboo shoots went well with the dish. the broth was flavourful but very creamy and rich, was served with many bubbles too. atmosphere is also a little awkward, probably wouldn’t return.

Bright space with tidy tables and clear signage. The Tokyo Mazesoba came loaded. Mixed first, the noodles were thick and springy with garlic and seaweed upfront. Midway, a shake of black pepper and the house kombu vinegar cut the oil and sharpened the flavors. The Spicy Toripaitan Ramen had a foamy, rich chicken broth—more creamy than hot. Chicken cartilage gyoza were thin and lightly crisp, with a pleasant crunch from the cartilage. Fast service, fair portions.

Enjoyed dinner at Menya Kokoro in Wan Chai – a solid Tokyo mazesoba spot. Went for the signature full-loaded Tokyo Mazesoba (loaded with raw egg yolk, spicy minced pork, spring onion, garlic & nori – super flavorful when mixed). Also tried the spicy toripaitan ramen (creamy chicken broth with nice heat) and chicken cartilage gyoza (crispy outside, juicy inside). Drinks: aromatic hojicha latte and refreshing cold brew. Loved the fun “one noodle three ways” style, ending with free rice to soak up every bit of sauce. Convenient near Wan Chai MTR. Great portions and authentic taste!

I ordered the white chicken soup ramen, and the star of the show was definitely the soup. It had a wonderfully rich, creamy, and sticky consistency that coated the noodles perfectly. The noodles themselves were a great match for the broth. I was also pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the seaweed was! While the portion size was about average, some of the toppings could be improved. The chicken, for instance, could have been more tender, and the chasiu was quite ordinary. The ramen egg was a mixed experience; while the yolk was perfectly rich and tasty, the egg white itself could have been marinated a bit longer to absorb more flavor. Overall, it's a solid bowl of ramen, especially if you love a thick and creamy chicken broth. Price is not cheap though, and has service charges.
