I came to tighten up the axle of my Shimano XTR pedal, which is the most expensive MTB pedal of that brand. After getting it "fixed" by a mechanic, within 15 min of riding the pedal body had fallen off the axle while I was riding in the city(and I'm riding a fixed gear bike, where the pedal equals the break, thus threatened my life). After investigation, it looks like the axle was overtightened, leading to a complete crash of axle, bearings and case. When came back to the shop, I was only suggested to buy new pedals, without taking any responsibility for the failure

Terrible customer service. They are less likely to provide servicing to those who did not buy the frame from them. Give me a quote of unreasonable price for replacing handlebar, then never respond to my message. Do not recommend.
