Why the hype people? It is a normal puff, its sweet, salty and just a choux. I tried. Not bad but not worth the hype. So many nicer places. Most of the people were tourists and everyone I spoke to hadn't actually tasted it before and was lining up cause everyone else was queuing. Save your time. Not worth the wait. Just to be clear this place doesn't have a Michelin Star. They have been recommended under street food category.

Highly recommended for those with a sweet tooth. 😋😋😋 Especially for tourists, this is a dessert that’s definitely worth a try! The sweetness is just right, not too overpowering. The cream is incredibly smooth, with a texture similar to ice cream, though isn't actually ice cream. You won't have any regrets coz it’s super yums! For these kind of dessert the price’s quite expensive compared to other places. However, treating yourself to it once in a while is absolutely worth it✨✨✨ ‼️Note: As soon as you arrive, take a queue number to place your order immediately. DON’T just stand there waiting with the crowd; they’re all queuing because they’ve already taken their numbers, placed their orders, and are simply waiting to pick up their food. So, remember! The moment you arrive, head straight to the counter to get your queue number. Once your number is called, go to the cashier and place your order. Since they usually call out the numbers in Cantonese language, it’s best to stay close to the counter and show them your number. Enjoy~! 🥰

The first time we went, it was 7.30pm and google said they closed at 9pm. They sold out just before we got to the front of the line at 7.45pm. So disappointing. Second time- I went at 4.45pm and half the flavours were sold out already. The creme brulee was pretty good. The tiramisu was ok, wouldn't get it again. But the choux pastry is quite light and tasty. Not sure I'd line up again but the creme brulee was delicious. I see complaints in the reviews about the old system being used and the poor customer service- but I think it's quite an iconic thing for HK 😂

Very old school setup with manual system. Food quality is good but very pricey. U buy & pay then wait for your number to be called. Uncle speak in Cantonese and since majority of his customers are from China and do not necessarily understand the system leading to a lot of confusion. A lady claimed to be in hurry and wanted to be serve first and uncle obliged and gave her the pastry despite her Q no is 16 and now only serving 7. This lead to others moving forward to try and check their orders too. A simple Q no sign will solve the language barrier. I waited for 40 mins to get my pastry. Unfortunately for me it is a once only shop and will not be back again

Overrated, not worth for queuing. The puff is crispy and nice. But the cream is soso. And the attitude for the uncle is a bit bad. A few customers have been waiting there for long, and when they ask if they have the items, the uncle said he has been calling them for several times. Actually, they can install a board for showing the number. And the service from the uncle is a bit, I think thats one of the reasons why long queue. Anyway, worth to try once, but not a must to go for.
