About PizzaExpress (Wan Chai)
PizzaExpress (Wan Chai) is a pizza place in Wan Chai, at Shop No.102, 1/F, Harbour Center, 25 Harbour Rd, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. This is an upstairs shop: the way in is usually through the building lobby rather than from the street, so check the building name, floor and unit before you go and allow a few minutes for the lift.
When choosing a restaurant, check whether the menu shows prices and the service charge, whether you need to book, and whether there are vegetarian or children's options. Restaurants must hold a licence from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, usually displayed inside. Lunar New Year, Mother's Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve are peak booking times, and some restaurants offer set menus or add a surcharge on festive days, so ask ahead. Delivery usually has a minimum order and a delivery area, and takes longer at peak times.
Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 11:30–22:00, Sat–Sun 11:00–22:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2573 5796. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is pizzaexpress.com.hk, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.
At 3.9 out of 5 on Google (73 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving.

🍕 PizzaExpress Wanchai Dining Review Had a fantastic gathering at PizzaExpress in Harbour Centre, Wanchai. The pizzas and mains are as solid as ever, making it an excellent spot for sharing with friends! Peking Duck Pizza A brilliant East-meets-West fusion! The duck meat is tender, topped with crunchy shredded cucumber and scallions. The rich hoisin-style sweet bean sauce goes surprisingly well with the melted cheese. Carbonara Pizza The semi-runny egg in the center is the absolute soul of this pizza. Poking the yolk lets the golden liquid cascade over the savory bacon and gooey cheese, making every bite incredibly smooth and rich. Penne ai Funghi Packed with an intense, earthy mushroom aroma. The velvety cream sauce clings perfectly to the penne, giving it a wonderfully comforting texture. As for the sides, the Chicken Wings are beautifully charred on the outside and juicy within, while the kids' meal Bolognese Meatballs Spaghetti is pleasantly tangy and appetizing. We wrapped up the meal with the warm Dough Balls dipped in wicked Nutella—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, a flawless sweet finale!

Nice mom and pop pizzeria. The pizza was delicious, and the Chinese woman who eventually attended to me was just lovely and attentive. The only negative experience I had was my interactions with an Indian-looking woman who could have been the owner or manager. She was rather indifferent, not rude, but not warm. I would go again when next I am in Hong Kong.

We celebrated our friends’ pet birthday dinner here and we were dining at the al fresco area of the restaurant. Since hey do not have license yet for serving full plates and utensils outside our food were served as takeout but we dont mind as all food we ordered were all delicious and freshly made from the kitchen. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.
