Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

If it’s your first time in Hong Kong, you cannot miss the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower. It’s a beautiful piece of history made of classic red brick and granite. It sits right next to the Victoria Harbour waterfront, making it the perfect spot for taking iconic photos. It’s easily accessible right by the Star Ferry pier and a great starting point for a walk along the promenade!

You're just a few more steps away from the Tsim Sha Tsui ferry pier! Please note that ferries depart for both Central and Wan Chai. Central is the heart of Hong Kong, home to both the CBD and a wealth of history. Explore the Central Market and shop along the famous Central Mid-Levels Escalator, or take a short ride on the iconic HK Tram from near Wan Chai Pier to Causeway Bay. Helpful guides are available online. Enjoy your visit!

The Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower is one of Hong Kong’s most important historical landmarks, standing proudly along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. Built in 1915, this red-brick clock tower is all that remains of the original Kowloon-Canton Railway terminus and serves as a quiet reminder of Hong Kong’s colonial and transportation history. The design is simple yet striking, with its tall structure and classic clock faces making it easy to spot from a distance. While you can’t go inside, the surrounding open space allows visitors to walk around, take photos, and enjoy views of Victoria Harbour. It’s especially beautiful at sunset and in the evening, when the tower is softly lit and the harbour breeze adds to the calm atmosphere. Located right next to the Star Ferry Pier and close to the Avenue of Stars, the Clock Tower fits perfectly into a relaxed harbour walk. It’s not a place that takes long to visit, but it adds depth and historical context to the area. Overall, it’s a meaningful stop for those interested in Hong Kong’s past, photography lovers, or anyone looking to slow down and appreciate a quieter side of the city amid the busy surroundings.

The Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower, officially named the Clock Tower, is located in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is a prominent, iconic landmark near the Victoria Harbour waterfront and the Star Ferry Pier. The surrounding area is wheelchair accessible, and the site offers free admission as it is a public space. The 44-meter-tall red brick and granite tower is the only remaining structure of the original Kowloon Station terminus, which was a major transportation hub and was demolished in 1978. It served as a memorable landmark for many Chinese immigrants and travelers arriving in Hong Kong by rail in the early 20th century. The tower is a key point of interest located near the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Hong Kong Space Museum, and the Avenue of Stars, which offers stunning views of the Victoria Harbour skyline. It is easily accessible by public transport: MTR: East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit L4 (short walk) or Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit Ferry: Star Ferry Pier in Tsim Sha Tsui, which is right next to the tower.

Been to former kowloon canton railway clock on October 1st, by the time of fireworks 🎇 The surrounding area was nice filled with people. Fireworks added to that nice atmosphere as well. Recommend to people to visit there especially at night🤩 HK police managed the crowd very well for the event👍🏻
