思湯達教育中心 is a tutoring centre in Wan Chai, at 2/F, 124-128 Johnston Rd, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. It is upstairs in a building, entered through the lobby rather than from the street, so check the building name, floor and unit before you go and allow a few minutes for the lift.

Tutoring and hobby classes are busiest around exam season (before the HKDSE, for example) and in the summer holidays, so enrol early for popular slots. Ask about materials and registration fees, get receipts, and avoid paying a long course in advance in one go. Treat promises of guaranteed passes or school places with care, and get any terms in writing.

Opening hours: Mon–Wed 13:00–20:00, Thu 10:00–20:00, Fri 13:00–20:00, Sat 09:00–17:30, Sun closed. It is open 6 days a week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 3996 7508; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. Its website is sc-ko.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

At 3.7 out of 5 on Google (21 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.
