Siam Barber, a barber in Wan Chai, is at 香港島灣仔聯發街1A號. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.

Hair, beauty and massage salons are best booked ahead, especially at weekends and before festivals such as Lunar New Year. Ask for the price before you start, as some treatments cost more depending on hair length or products; read the terms carefully before buying a prepaid package and consider whether the shop is likely to stay in business. Many barbers take walk-ins and online bookings; expect longer waits on weekend afternoons.

Opening hours: Mon–Sat 11:00–20:00, Sun closed. That makes 6 working days a week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 5415 0817. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work. More information is on its website, instagram.com.

Customers give it an average of 4.8 out of 5 on Google (38 reviews), a high score by any measure.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Great service and Best haircut, I had in Hong Kong. Good price too.

The lady working had a very cold and unwelcoming attitude. We opened door, not even any word to welcome us. We left not doing the haircut because we didn’t want to ruin our day seeing her any longer. Even after we left she did not even say anything like as if we were invisible.

Didi is amazing and a master at her craft! I walked in for a haircut one day before Chinese New Year and it's probably one of the best cuts I've ever had. It's around 3-5 minutes walk from Wan Chai Exit B1 and it's just across the Coffee Academics. When I walked in, the first thought was the place smells amazing. It was neat and tidy and the music taste is top notch! Second, for its price of HKD$180 for a fade cut in Hong Kong? It's definitely worth it! To be honest, I've tried multiple places for similar prices and nothing can beat this Siam Barber. I highly recommend this place and I'll definitely come back again!

The best haircut in Hong Kong - I won’t cut my hair anywhere else and am delighted to have the found this shop The stylist is fantastic and I’ve never seen anyone walk away unhappy and not tip her Pls do her out

Best haircut I’ve had. I gave extra $20 for her to show my appreciation. My best advice for whoever is coming in for a hair cut is to have enough time in your day. Don’t rush, and you’ll find you walking away with a great hair cut. Honestly if I’m getting same level service from somewhere else I’ll have to pay about $250-$300. So worth it!
