Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

dai pai dong style thai restaurant with amazing food! the 燒牛肉 (braised beef) is a must get. genuinely one of the yummiest dishes ive had in a long while. everything else was decent too, and most dishes are for sharing. recommend!

Went at 9:30pm on a rainy Monday and got seated immediately for a meal I won’t forget! The pork neck was perfectly crispy and juicy (mouth watering thinking about it) and would have been perfect with some rice, but we opted for Pad Kee Mao which was done really well (spice had a great kick) and topped with loads of vegetables too. The interior was so pretty and aesthetic and the food paired great with some beer. Staff were friendly and cool too! Even got a taste of a free coconut milk dessert after!! Definitely coming back to go through the menu (so many things we wanted to try still).

Cute place serving authentic food with a twist. Fresh ingredients and well prepared. We order Pork Neck, Brussels Spouts, and century egg with Prawns. Menu in Chinese and Thai. Very yummy and tasty. Highly recommend a try.

We have to wait a little bit to be seated because it was packed, but I think it's totally worth it! A bit pricey but worth compared to the amazing food 😋😋😋 Me and my friends ordered roasted beef, oyster omelette, and the tom yum. We really loved their roasted beef, it was the highlight of our dinner!! The tom yum is also good, might be one of the best I tasted in HK, not too creamy but not too light. The oyster omelette was also a good option 🤩🤩 the rice is quite huge so i think can cover 2 small portion. Overall we really like the food and the ambience is also cool!

they only allow dining time 75mins, which is far less than most restaurant in town! it made eating a rush and very unpleasant. the worst of it was, i actually booked the seat in advance but it wasn't mention during the booking. if we knew the unreasonable dining time, definitely would choose somewhere else and wouldn't let our tummy a torture. disappointed.
