Phone number is optional. For visitors, there is a "skip" button on the bottom right of the phone number screen. You do need a digital payment method (non credit card). Note: Wash is fast, several wash/rinse cycles over 26 mins, probably not for heavily soiled clothes. Soap is included, added automatically after an initial soak. Drying tips: Hi/Med/Lo settings. Hi is very hot, perhaps cotton only. Med is good but will get quite hot if over dried. Lo is safe but jeans will not dry. My method is to start with Med for half the time, then open door slightly to stop the dryer, turn jeans inside out, select Lo, close the door and press Start again to finish. Good luck.
