Don't kid yourself, I suppose reviews here really demonstrate relativity and perspective of people who are writing them. I live in Canada and have traveled quite a bit around the world and I must say The Figo rooms were incredibly basic, minimally and cheaply furnished, rather uncomfortable, but a safe place to sleep I guess. Unfortunately due to the vintage of the hotel the air conditioning units really struggle with humidity. There was a dehumidifier in the room that filled up with about 5 l of water a few times a day. I suppose that's what Hong Kong is! Honestly at this price point, it's a bargain, but it's also not very comfortable. It felt like a dorm. The staff there were incredibly kind and nice and the common spaces were pleasant enough, I appreciate having a little balcony and patio to sit out on and have some outdoor space. Maybe I'm just used to being a bit more comfortable in the hotels we stay at, but if you're comparing this to Western standards, I'd see what else is available before booking here. Location was great though.. I can't even call it quiet because they were demolishing a building directly across the street from the room. They kindly offered us an upgrade

The Figo is one of those hotels you want to return to. Located in Sheung Wan — my favourite neighbourhood in Hong Kong, where the old city meets contemporary art, antique shops and great coffee spots. Every detail of the design is thought through: terracotta, sage, olive, handcrafted furniture — it all creates the feeling of a warm, living space rather than another soulless hotel. What genuinely surprised me: an infrared sauna and cold plunge right on the premises. Contrast therapy after a full day in the city is something else. There’s also a gym, flex room, rooftop barbecue terrace — and drinks and snacks available for all guests at any time, complimentary. Oh, and they welcome dogs. With a pool for them. You just have to respect that. And through all of this, the prices remain very reasonable for this level. The Figo proves that a boutique hotel can be both stylish and soulful at the same time.
