About The FOREST
The FOREST is a shopping mall in Mong Kok, Yau Tsim Mong, at 九龍旺角奶路臣街17號. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.
It pays to compare prices before you buy and to check that the price shown includes everything. Octopus, credit cards, FPS and e-wallets work in most shops, though small ones may be cash only or set a minimum for cards; weekend and public-holiday afternoons are busiest, so weekday daytime is better for a relaxed browse. Mall websites and signs show car parks, toilets and information counters, and some offer parking discounts for shoppers.
Opening hours: daily, 10:30–22:30. It opens every day of the week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 3990 1930. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, hongkongfuns.com.
At 3.7 out of 5 on Google (948 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

This shopping centre felt fairly average overall, with not too much to explore beyond a handful of small shops. There is a Starbucks, but the main focus here is sneakers, which makes sense given its location right next to Hong Kong’s famous Sneaker Street. If you’re into footwear and street fashion, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. Beyond sneakers, I did notice a few other options, including Red Wing and Dr. Martens, which added some variety. Still, the centre is best suited for those specifically hunting for shoes rather than a broad shopping experience.

The Forest in Mong Kok is a refreshing urban oasis that seamlessly blends modern design with a nature-inspired theme. As someone who appreciates both style and functionality, I was immediately drawn to its lush greenery and thoughtfully curated spaces. The third-floor garden is a standout feature, offering a serene escape from the bustling streets below. While the mall is home to many high-end sporting goods and sneaker stores, it also caters to outdoor enthusiasts with a variety of brands perfect for hiking and trail adventures. The StockX physical store is a unique highlight, featuring exclusive Hong Kong merchandise that’s hard to find elsewhere. Though some might find the prices on the higher side, the quality of the products and the overall ambiance make it worth a visit. The clean, well-maintained facilities and the abundance of seating areas make it a great spot to relax or meet up with friends. While the plastic decorations are a bit of a letdown for a place named 'The Forest,'

Located right at the front of the building, the shop is impossible to miss—decked out in bold reds, iconic crests, and a vibe that screams Anfield pride. Whether you're looking to rep your favorite player or just soak in the club spirit, this shop delivers. Staff are friendly and clearly know their football—they’re happy to chat about the latest matches or help you find the perfect fit.
