The New Black Optical（簡稱 TNBO）由林嘉浩（Jonathan）於 2013 年創立，是香港具代表性的日本手造眼鏡專門店。品牌理念簡潔有力：提供高質素奢華眼鏡體驗，不單跟隨潮流，更要創造屬於自己的 The New Black。  創辦人由學生時期網上團購起步，其後在旺角開設實體店，以開放式陳列讓客人自由試戴，打破傳統眼鏡店「鎖櫃、高壓銷售」的模式。十多年來，TNBO 專注引入日本鯖江等地職人品牌，代理超過四十個牌子，包括日皇御用增永眼鏡 Masunaga、BJ Classic、內藤熊八作、金子眼鏡、EYEVAN、萬年龜，以及日本以外獨家代理的 The White Screen 等，同時亦有歐美高端系列.
