Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

Probably one of the best fried squid curls in Hong Kong. Best served with the salt and pepper, just let the staff do the seasoning. The name of the shop literally means "double happiness", a word that generally used in marriage event. Visit there every time when in town. P.S. Take-out only.

A very authentic Hong Kong local snack shop. However, my batch of fried squid legs are not hot enough even though it still taste relatively well seasoned. The cold octopus remind me of another shop at Mong kok.

Classic Hong Kong Street food. Back in the day, you could find street carts and hawkers selling curry fishballs, deepfried fishballs with eggplant & green peppers all over Hong Kong. But ever since the Govt banned street hawkers, many places like this have popped up all over the busy areas of Hong Kong. This one in Shamshuipo opposite the golden arcade has a variety of classic HK street food. Check it out if you are in the area

hong kong style food. Just 1 mins walk from sham shui po mtr station, d2 exit. Range of choices from deep fried, "chinese cold cut", fish balls and BBQ. I like the BBQ the most. Little spicy would be great. If you are veggie, can enjoy the food too.
