About 香港公園

香港公園, a park or outdoor spot in Central, Central and Western, is at 香港島中環紅棉路19號. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.

About 40% of Hong Kong's land is country park or special area, and hiking trails run through every district. Before a hike or a beach day check the Hong Kong Observatory forecast and warnings, bring enough water, sun protection and a charged phone, and stay on the trail; the country parks ask visitors to take their litter home. In summer, avoid hiking at midday, carry plenty of water and take extra care when the Very Hot Weather Warning is in force.

Opening hours: daily, 06:00–23:00. It opens every day of the week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 2521 5041; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. More information is on its website, lcsd.gov.hk.

It has a Google rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 2,356 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.

Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

Located in Admiralty, Hong Kong Park is a spacious urban oasis blending modern design with natural landscapes. Highlights include the Forsgate Conservatory, the large Aviary, waterfalls, ponds, and the Museum of Tea Ware housed in a historic building. Free to enter and open daily, the park offers a peaceful retreat with educational attractions, making it a favorite spot for families, nature lovers, and those seeking calm in the city’s bustle.

Very impressive and well maintained park right in the middle of the city. Despite being surrounded by skyscrapers, the park feels peaceful with lots of greenery. There’s quite a lot to see, including landscaped gardens, decorative structures, ponds, waterfalls, and a large walk-through aviary where you can see different tropical birds flying freely around. Fun fact: There’s also a statue of a World War I soldier in the park. It serves as a memorial connected to John Robert Osborn, a Canadian soldier who was awarded the Victoria Cross for sacrificing himself to save his comrades during the Battle of Hong Kong in 1941. Overall a great place to relax, walk around, and take a break from the busy city.

Hong Kong Park is one of the nicest green spaces on Hong Kong Island and a great place to escape the city for a while. Sitting right in the middle of Central and Admiralty, it’s surrounded by tall buildings, but once you step inside the park it feels surprisingly calm. A lot of the park has been updated over the years, and it looks very different from what it used to be in the past. The paths, gardens, and water features are well maintained and the whole area feels clean and refreshed. It’s a great place to walk around, sit for a bit, or just slow down after being in the busy city. One of the highlights is the small zoo area, which is free and fun to walk through. You’ll see birds, turtles, and other animals, and it adds something extra to the park that many people don’t expect. Another great stop inside the park is the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware, a historic building that now serves as a tea museum. It’s interesting to walk through and learn about the history of tea culture, and the tea house nearby is a nice place to relax after exploring the park. Overall Hong Kong Park is a must visit if you’re on the island. It’s a great balance of nature, history, and quiet space right

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A stunning green oasis amidst the skyscrapers! Hong Kong Park is an absolute highlight and the perfect place to escape the city's hustle and bustle for a while. The location is incredibly central and super easy to reach. I particularly enjoyed the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware. It is a beautiful historic building with a wonderful atmosphere and very interesting exhibitions regarding tea culture. The contrast between the lush nature inside the park and the modern skyline in the background is simply impressive. Whether for a relaxing walk or a visit to the tea museum—this park is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Hong Kong Park is spectacular with so many beautiful things to see. It is very well designed and immaculately maintained and presented. Within the Park there are many things to do but there are ponds, an aviary, wonderful gardens, restaurants, a plant conservatory and much much more. We were staying at The Murray Hotel and was very fortunate to have this wonderful park within a 60 second walk of our hotel. So much to see, so much nature, so much peace…. What more could you want. Go to this park and spend time away from the wild side of the world.
